Aperture/Depth of Focus Experiment

I find it incredible that I’ve only just learnt that a wider aperture means a more shallow depth of field. So to confirm this to my self I thought I’d take some photos of some glassware…some really really nice glassware. I’m really drawn to photos with a shallow depth of field for some reason, and maybe one day I’ll figure out why.

I want to draw these at some point this summer, transparency must be the hardest thing to capture in my opinion, apart from maybe faces… Add that to the list of things to do over summer!
